Transmeta Grants LongRun2 License to Toshiba

Following Sony, NEC, and Fujitsu, Toshiba has licensed its LongRun2 technology to Toshiba, which will incorporate it with its own power reduction technology to improve LSI power draw. Able to be produced on 99nm and 22nm nodes, the technology is expected to be applied to cell processors in cooperation with Sony.
